In meat production, the effects measured underline the interest of the approach.

The tests show:

• an average gain of +18.4 kg of live weight,
• an improvement in ADG of +240 g/day,
• better final recovery of carcasses.

 

The improvement of assimilation here makes it possible to sustain growth without modifying the basic dietary behaviour.

 

Concrete profitability for the farmer

In addition to zootechnical performance, economic impact is an essential criterion.

The field results indicate that:

• €0.22 invested can generate a gain of +0.5 to +€1.2
• In beef cattle, a 100-day application can represent up to +21 kg of carcass, i.e. a significant economic gain depending on the selling price.
