7 September 2023 In 2023, MG2MIX is more determined than ever to continue its development by offering solutions for «Feeding animals and people in a healthy and fair way». We are proud to share with you the results of our actions and research over the past year, which have focused on key issues for the future of our sector.
Optimisation is at the heart of our approach. We are constantly seeking to improve our feed formulations to protect animal health and maximise performance, while optimising costs and protecting the environment. Our research and dedicated tools enable us to identify best practices and offer you innovative solutions to optimise your livestock production.
Over the past year, we have carried out numerous trials to reduce the incorporation of protein and soya meal, focusing on amino acid ratios and the notion of ideal protein. The results obtained have encouraged us and demonstrated that it is possible to optimise feed formulations without compromising the performance and health of the animals.
We have also made significant progress in reducing inorganic phosphate by overdosing with phytases. This innovative approach has enabled us to significantly reduce phosphorus discharges in effluents, while maintaining animal performance. In this way, we are actively contributing to the preservation of natural resources and the sustainability of animal nutrition.
In our determination to continue innovating and offering the best solutions, we have strengthened our links with Arthames, a company specialising in game nutrition. Thanks to their expertise, we will be able to develop natural additives in powder and liquid form for our poultry and game customers. This collaboration will enable us to expand our range of natural products to meet the expectations of our customers who are concerned about the health and well-being of their animals.
